Hi Andy. Is that one of the latest arms from DMGRS.?
I have a set of the previous arms from them, and they seem ok. The bracket for the drop link is in the correct place. Not like the ones from India that were in circulation. Mine are in the loft for when I need them. Got to spray them with Waxoyle before use tho.

It’s one from Rimmer Brothers, not sure if it’s new stock or not but the drain holes are in the correct place and all the welds pass the weetabix box test!

So I finally got the two rear suspension arms replaced on the MG ZT and I have taken the 75 off the road, as I need to look at the rear springs as the rear is way to low. I can only get one finger between the tyre and the wheel arch.
I have to say the difference in ride...The 75 is so comfortable and the ZT has a lot harder ride.

Seeing as have now sorted the leaky boot, cleaned and sealed the sunroof drains, it was time to remove the carpet to get it dried properly.
I was greeted with the worst flood I have seen in a 75, the contents of the bucket were what I drained from the floor, that doesn’t include what is still in the foam of the carpet! Don’t be fooled by a damp carpet, what lies underneath can be deceiving. Seeing as I was soaked from removing the carpet, I gave Meg a bath, she’s now also drying out on the window ledge above the radiator.

Been there got the tea shirt, so feel your pain took my carpets two weeks to dry out. 1 2 3 If any member sees a tiny bit of water just below the seat belt anchor point, then investigate as that is how mine first showed up, when i lifted the carpet like Andy a good bucket or two of water was sucked out, and at least the same was soaked into the sponge of the carpets. Mostly affects cars with a sunroof. https://youtu.be/eLgj8AIX0WY https://youtu.be/nPSE86UPuK8 https://youtu.be/BdYqWruFucs

I knew it needed doing Steve, just didn't get chance due to the engine swap & painting the engine bay, once the leaks had been sorted it spurred me on into attacking the wetness.
Hopefully a week or two of sunshine will assist the drying process then I can shampoo the carpets before refitting.
