I've had a 416 saloon which was a cracking motor until the ECU packed up and it started idling at 4000rpm. Slightly scary! Once I got that fixed, it was a solid little runner that had a little bit of lift-off oversteer when pushed into corners - great fun!
My old ZS was a stormer. Ex Aston Villa fleet car when MGR sponsored the club. 1.8 K-series. Went like a rocket and could have been a licence loser. ECU went on that too. Ran her for 12 years until she got drowned by an X5 in some flash flooding we had back in 2017. Engine wrecked, interior soaked and was uneconomical to repair. Miss that one big time. Great fun.
