Webasto heaters
Hi all, which webasto heaters are compatible with our cars? I’ve seen a wide variety of units that look identical to the rover unit but never sure which ones would work. For example I’ve found a unit which is labelled as a Thermo Top Z and has come out of a BMW X5, the add says:
BMW X5 Series E53 M57 M57N 3.0d Diesel Webasto Auxiliary Heater 8380998 Genuine used OEM part Part no: 64128381207 Would this work on a 75? |

No that won't work, plenty of rover ones out there, bank on having to have the PCB repaired as a lot of them do not work even though sellers on ebay think they do!

Oh well, thanks for that. If I’m looking for one, what numbers/models do I need to look for? Also, do heaters from l322 Range Rover/ freelander 1s work in our cars? Or can they be converted to do so? Cheers, Graham.

I can't remember the part numbers offhand, the freelander units will work, but again, you have to use the 75 pcb.

Hi,
Save yourself a lot of hassle and just go to Devilish & Trebor. They are great guys, very well known at the Nano's and really do know what they are doing. Fully fitted mine on the green tourer including a mobile phone controlled remote Hope you & the family are happy & well. |
