![]() Well yesterday now because i have posted late
![]() Also had to strip down both doors, as both did not have any trimming left on them, no door cards and one the front the wiring loom and lock did not work. Then to make matters worse both needed the door handles changing over, due to the replacement doors handle were pitted.

Hope you are well, remember when driving on motorways or at good speed anywhere you can switch to Econ and give those brushes a rest as the A/C will be just as cold with the ram effect from the car ![]() I am now off out to investigate a knocking on the tourer from the front, changed the drop links four days ago so it wont be those or it should not be. cheers Arctic.

![]() Yeah you won't have AC in econ mode as the compressor will be disengaged.

![]() It is all according to how warm it is outside when you disengage the compressor. I knock mine off when travelling at above 40 mph, and leave it on econ until it gets warm again. Then put it back on auto. Saves a few mpg . My mate leaves his on all the time. Take your pick.

The 75 isn't exactly the most economical of cars (comparatively) anyway, so the 1mpg difference and potential bill of an air con system repair versus being comfortable is a no brainer for me. |
