I really like the metallic green MG4 but I'm liking the orange colour too.

And at £40,000 plus, I should hope so too.
I can fill my ZT up nearly 400 times for that. At 600 miles per tank that's 240,000 miles and I'm already at 224,000 miles now. Almost 20 years old as well.

That’s not an Mg ........
it’s a Chinese take away stolen from longbridge by underhand deals and lack of support by the British people in our very own motor industry and of course the then labour government .... just my belief

The MG4 is an MG, you may not like it but that's life. Likewise my ZSEV is also an MG. It's got a factory fitted MG badge on the rear and a very nifty factory fitted MG badge that lights up whilst charging at the front.I didn't retrofit them, they were on the car when it left the factory so clearly it's an MG
Times change but the joy of driving our ZSEV is every bit as real as it is from driving my TF or as it was driving my old ZT.
Whilst folk are happy to bemoan modern MGs as not being ' proper' MGs there sadly are many who also do not view the ZR, ZS or ZT as being proper MGs likewise they don't acknowledge the MG Maestro, Montego or Metro as being MGs either. Some also argue that any MGs not built in Abingdon are not MGs.

Times change, MG is alive and very well - even if some folk don't like them

They are not MG's, not British for a start, Chinkie. At least the ZR ZS ZT F & TF are British.
I have a trip coming up to Northern Ireland this coming weekend. Just for sh1ts and giggles I put in how many stops I would have to do in one of the MG EV's on a charger planning site, depending on how much charge / anxiety levels I was prepared to put up with, it said I would have to stop anywhere from 3 to 5 times and from 50 to 35 minutes each time. We're going to go in the TF and guess what, we'll only have to stop once, when we get there. We will stop on the way up of course but that will be for a pee and a bite to eat which will take tops, 20 minutes, and I won't be queuing at a charger, and I won't be light footed with it either.

For starters, no need for the derogatory language, I had hoped that word was resigned to the history books. The car is built in China by the Chinese, much like everything else nowadays
We took our ZS on a 700 mile road trip a couple of weeks back, aye we had to stop to charge every 120 miles or so ( we could have made it every 140 miles but like with a petrol car I don't like the light to come on). It was far cheaper than petrol and was a very relaxing trip.
Each to their own I say. We mostly use our EV for my wife going to work, instead of costing around £6-£7 a day it costs around £6-£7 a week. Puts a smile on my face

Derogatory language, there is no way, especially in Scotland, that the phrase, sh1ts & giggles is derogatory, wife has confirmed this, as she's Glaswegian and knows these things, I think I must have hit a nerve somewhere else.
