Default Cavity Wax Question

Hello chaps,
I've bought some cavity wax (Dynax S50) particularly for the sills but I also thought I'd spray some in the pipe that runs under the rear seats (see picture) as I know this can rust out. As I understand it, there are cables running through it so I just wanted to check that that was a good idea as I don't want to cause electrical trouble down the line.

I sprayed it into mine, then bunged up the end with lanoguard grease.

It won't damage any wiring.

Having said that, the lanoguard was not the best choice. In the very hot weather, some melted and dripped onto the road lol.

Would I do it again, yep!

Thanks for the reply! I suppose a sort of thick putty would do the job of bunging it up, I'll look around for some.

wont do any harm . most important thing is to stop the water at source within the wheel arch. wont hurt to spray some in the pipe entry point but dont flood it. i use this stuff every where and never had a problem. its for salt water marine applications and is very good. if you have the nylon extension to the nozzle that comes with the spray can version you could possibly get the pipe in if you trim off the end nozzle if you want some inside the pipe. it is expensive but good stuff.
