There's been a blast from the past running around up here, an old Edinburgh-Glasgow push-pull set, class 47, coaches, DBSO. Crewe Diesel Preservation Group bought 47712 from DRS, refurbished it, repainted it in Scotrail 1980's colours, reinstated the "Lady Diana Spencer" nameplates and remote control system, paired it up with Scotrail liveried coaches and a DBSO. Its spent three days up here running on the routes the push-pull sets used to cover, Edinburgh-Glasgow, Glasgow-Aberdeen and Glasgow-Inverness.
