I would have a search on the MGEVs MG 4 forums to see what electricity suppliers others are going for. I shall be looking into other tariffs for mine shortly. Yeah the car going back to the default setting every time you switch off is a pain for sure. I read there are software updates for MG's to make the charging handshake between car & the Tesla supercharger network more reliable. https://www.mgevs.com/forums/mg4-ev-forum.38/ It seems Ad Hoc what software updates the dealerships do, For instance my ZS EV hasn't had any software updates whatsoever in over three years I've had it I'm not particularly bothered as the car has been faultless.

I'm liking the functions on this OHME Pro 7kW charger. You can change or alter the charging schedule at any time from the OHME mobile phone App & tell it to charge the car to 100%.
I did this the other evening when my sister rang to say there's been a cancellation at the knee & hip hospital & they wanted her to come straight in the following morning. The App screen turns from blue to red when you tell the charger to charge the car to 100% ASAP.

Result yesterday! I went into Chaplehouse MG Motors Wigan yesterday & managed to scab a new type 2 charging cable & bag off them for nowt.

I got an email from our DNO yesterday saying they need to do some remedial work to the cut out / main fuse they fitted over three years ago,to be upgraded so that it is suitable for the installation of Low Carbon Technology.
They're coming next Tuesday to upgrade it free of charge.

The MG ZS EV Excite has gone It has been traded in for the Gen ll MG ZS EV facelift SR Trophy 51kWh model.
It's capable of V2L which will be able to run the small heater, heat mats & grow lights in my greenhouse then I can charge the car overnight on cheap rate tariff of 9p.kWh. My missus always missed the heated seats & 360 ° camera angles/reversing camera we didn't have on the Gen l Excite model. First snowfoam wash today.

I ordered one of these off the ebay yesterday & put my car details in & within twenty minutes I got a refund saying my car doesn't have V2L I have the discharge option menu on my screen which signifies It does have it so not sure why. I need to check with my vin number.

Cleaning day today inside & out. Snow foam jobby first & then put it on charge. The battery pack is liking this hot weather! The range is almost back up to the stated 199 miles.

I've got the ismart app paired up with my smartphone OK, but I don't like the white background app & what about the option of the colour of your car. It's still on charge yet at 95%.
The OBD ll reader I had for the Gen 1 ZS EV won't work with this Gen ll trophy model, neither will the other Nexus OBD ll reader either I need to read the settings manual before I go for another.
