I fitted KYB front struts and springs to my cdti tourer about 18 months ago,no probs with them at all,got them from the local parts supplier, can't remember what I paid but they can't have been too expensive as I'm from Yorkshire

People still try to use the original spring specs ,after adding numerous mods and upgrades to connie spec ,including electic seats and all. Im sure pete knows where he is weight wise before selecting suitable ones. ..

The car is a 2003 Connie se cdti automatic and would have been fitted with JM green/grey springs from factory so I’m hopeful to experience the ride it had from new.

Armed with my part number's and technical information I called into my local Euro car parts as I get a bit of a discount as I used them when I was an AA patrol. None of the numbers cross referenced and they said they can order some in for me to look at !

I have no confidence that they can provide the correct specification springs so I've just ordered some Quinton Hazell springs for £142 that Stephen( sin8458) posted me a link to. I've never used Autodoc before so fingers crossed all will be well

I fitted Suplex 28136 front coil springs with Monroe 742172SP and 742173SP dampers on my 2002 diesel auto. All looks and behaves well in my opinion.

I’ve had the Suplex 28136 fitted in a couple of my cars, as I liked (what I believed to be) a slightly higher ride height.
Unfortunately I found that they only lasted about 1 to 1 1/2 years😞, usually snapping in the colder weather.
I hope yours fair better than mine.🤞
