Default Identifying unknown wiring

Just about to upgrade the ICE a bit.. Kenwood cassette to kenwood CD/mp3.
Haven't plucked courage up to do a double din dvd. etc yet..

But took out the Fascia and radio today..

and while rooting about I found a few unconnected cables.

Can anyone give me a clue what they are for??

Found a bundle of 5 connectors tucked away wrapped in a sticky sponge.
these have a sticker saying right hand?

A odd Red wire with blue crimp spade end ..perm 12v.

a red/green wire with bare end. no power.

and the blue wire with single white connector this is connected to a green/white wire in the grey ISO block by the RED plastic thingy.

and the metal box thingy connecting to the steering wheel IR LED... is this a standard item ??

Reckon that should be confusing enough !!!

Can anyone help ?? identify any of them ..

thanks

Chris

The ones wrapped up in the sponge will be for console switches, heated seats, cruise, etc.
The red one with the blue connector and the Blue one with the white connector are not part of the original loom, I would think they are where someone has fitted a phone kit - permanent live and (Green/White), ignition live.
The Red/Green will be connected to pin 1 of the power ISO plug and is the phone mute input cable.
The box connected to the LED is the steering wheel control interface for the factory fitted Kenwood unit.
