I know this is slightly different but I owned a Pajero diesel that had a similar problem to the one you are describing and that turned out to be the fuel pump bushes .... long shot just trying to help.

Hi Heather so sorry to hear that this problem is still on going have you thought about giving Lates a buzz and see if he can come up with the answer But I am sure that giving time Tim and Russ will come up with the answer I know that this is daft question and Tim has recharged the battery but have you tried another battery

yes, battery is fine, if not sorted by Friday shes going to a specialist ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ £££££££££££££

Hi Tim the reason that I mention the battery I can remember many years ago i had a Morris 1000 that would not start I kept cranking it over till I flattened the battery put the battery on charge and refitted it to the car still no joy and once again I flattened the battery a Pal came along and we took to battery off his car and put it on the 1000 and it started straight away what was happening although the battery was faulty charge it was not it tip top condition and when creaking the starter was robbing the coil it was just a thought that I had good luck and I hope that it is sorted soon
