With tyres etc Simon's set are a very good price. I managed to get a new one at last week's meet at the BMC/BL rally autojumble for £45. (Wish I'd had more money with me as he had 3 in total and some 18" gridspokes too, + others) Russ

Just checked the shop and will proceed as far as paying for them. (both paint codes)
According to Rimmer Bros., the original part number RRC110132MNH has now been replaced with ZUA000520MNH. £198.73 inc. VAT Which makes yours even more of a bargain The Liquid silver (MBS) may be the ones that are longer available, as when you input the part number RRC110132MBS it says that it's been replaced with the new number. I actually phoned them last week Russ and was told they didn't have any Serpents at all, with or without tyres - they did have Unions and Contours though.

There are two types of Serpent in two diffeerent shades of Silver
Pre facelift RRC110131MNH Facelift RRC110132MBS I have 4 of the pre facelift type and one of the face lift type which I use as a spare Simons wheels and centres are the correct "Period" wheels for a pre face lift car, I should imagine Rimmers et all are selling the face lift versions. If any one also has an odd set I may be happy to swap my face lift one for a pre face lift one side by side the difference in silver is very noticeable. |

I'd be very surpised if Rimmers or anyone else has any new Serpents of either type left though. Easy way to find out Edit: forgot this from brochure: Last edited by Simon W; 7th August 2009 at 23:25.. |
