Default Fan & Stat change by Jules

Just had my fan & thermostat changed, on my CDT, by Jules gone Sunday. He done a fantastic job! He also done all the extra modification he includes and also changed the pcv filter. Well worth the 300 mile round trip!
Before stat change average mpg was 26-27, now 33-34mpg.
Driving up there I got 37mpg, on the return journey I got 44mpg driving the same.
I agree with all the previous recommendation. He defintley knows hes stuff! and you have the peace of mind its been done & done properly!

Thanks for the kind comments Ali & nice to meet you too

Some extra info here too, we did some road testing for my extra satisfaction:

Engine was running at less that 70 deg in top gear before Thermostat change.
New Stat (with IPK in diagnostic mode) now toggling between 89 -90 C

So all those CDT/i owners who say their engine runs cool. well they shouldn't do! They should run almost bang on what is stamped on the Stat 88deg (give or take a degree)
So think about a new Stat & gain some extra power & MPG.
