Take no notice of him - Spencer (his gallbladder is located between his ears)

If they keep you on fluids then they are contemplating having a go. If they say you should be eating then they have changed thier minds. They want it to be nice and cold not inflammed or infekted. Then not much risk of them spilling pus all over your innards

Right ,on a drip and nil by mouth awaiting a bed on a ward and ultasound scan ASAP.

1pm second drip containing antibiotics along side original.

7PM still waiting, offered sandwich by change of staff, reminded them nil by mouth.

9PM off to a ward with a bed

9:30 pm see surgeon on late ward round. Prod, prod, prod, are you in any pain now, NO.

OK will see you in the morning, why are you on a drip? I'm nil by mouth. No, dont need that you can eat and drink as you wish!!

8:30 am next morning, surgeons round, any pain? nope, OK you can be discharged and we will make you an appointment as an outpatient

Outpatient appointment is in two weeks time.
Should have told them that you were still in excrutiating pain and got the op over and done with.
