Low-line Sat Nav and post codes
Folks,
I have just bought a 2006/07 update CD for my Low-line Sat Nav, inserted it and it appears to work fine. I have not done a full test on it yet, but it appears just as the existing 2001 disk did - but hopefully with additions to the data-base. The Ebay add for the CD suggested that it would allow Post Code address searches etc ...does anyone know whether this is actually possible with the Low-line system...if so how ?? Many thanks in advance. Cheers + ATVB Philip

It is possible but only for selected areas and the system doesn't do the full postcode.
Either on city or street option (Can't remember which) type in first letter of postcode and you will then get available next letters Mark |

Clever things them Satelliites they don't manage to hide behind hills and trees like mobile phone masts do!
Plus you have a gyro and wheel sensor info so that when you go underground in tunnels it still knows where you are |

Post code access is available but limited ie BB1 6. You then have to enter the street or if you looking for a golf club for example it will list all in that area. Simple but effective
