I keep wondering about the prices in UK..... 10.000 pounds for a V8!
In the Netherlands the V8's are much higher, for example: Rover 75 V8 2005 with 61.610 km The price is 27.450 euro's, that is about 23.000 pounds

As a seller you can ask what you feel like! What matters is obviously what you can sell the thing for. I don't think 27000Euro will fly. Not for a while at least. When the Euro collapses, then maybe yes. |

I guess this is why the seller told me if it doesn't sell at about the advertised price he will export it. Guess even a RHD would fetch 12K euros over there easily? Dave

Yes, they sell for that price...... The 27.000-euro-car is one of the cheapest over here.....
The latest sold I know was a 75 Tourer V8 in The Hague, for a 45.000 euro....

Naah very possible.
May cars in this class are simply bought as toys, show or weekend cars. Cabriolets are the other example of few miles for the age.

That's what I like - a little optimism for the New Year:xmas-smiley-031:. Still seems a lot though. My Contemporary SE with two owners, ex Rover Press Car with full service history and every option was only £5750 last year. Does that mean prices have gone up.
