I think that looks brilliant, I've thought about doing it myself.
The main thing that strikes me is how well it's been done, it looks like that's how it should be and not a cheap after market add on.
Have to confess I have splashed out on an MG 7 chrome surround though, just in the process of sorting the mesh. Contemplating buying a Chrysler 300c 'Bentley' style grille and cutting it up to fit!

That's a very, very nice alternative to a wooden wheel. How much does a retrim of the steering wheel cost?
