Don't know if this will help as all I'm concerned about regarding insurance is price but Direct Line has been cheapest for me every time!!!

I'll second both direct line and Campbell Autoline as well (I use Campbell for my classic insurance)

Hi just got a quote from DirectLine for the ZT, £398 fully comp, proteced no claims, etc, etc, Missus n me as a named driver (dont have any no claims/not uk resident) thought it pretty reasonable. Open+Direct who we're currently with where almost £100 more expensive. Up for renewel 15 June so still shopping round. Im 40 and shes 34 (cradle snatcher I know!) If I was still in England t would probably be half that !!

I got mine with Greenlight this year which was about £200 cheaper than else where, I use another NI forum www.reallymeansounds.com and its free, they get a discount on the Greenlight policies. Might be worth looking at also?
Im going traders myself next year to include the van, the ZT and her Ka.

well just renewed insurance. Open and direct who we're currently with matched the directline quote, and actually we get more with it (recovery, replacement key cover, accomodation costs in the event of a breakdown and a few other sweetners) so happy enough. Worth going back to your current provider and seeing if they can match or better another quote. Buyers market and all that. £400 fully comp

I renewed mine with Open and Direct too. When the quote came in it was high. went over and talked to them and took some other quotes and got it down by £100.

I think most of these companies do the same, as Im sure a lot of people just automatically renew without really checking,so the companies are making a killing. I've got a bit of a gob on me, and my only loyality is with my own bank balance so if they want my business they gotta work for it.
