None as far as i am aware, all steering joints /suspension joints are either sealed for life or are of the rubber mono bloc type which require no maintenance other than periodical checks for wear / damage and or replacement.

I've not seen a grease nipple on any car for many, many years. They seemed to go in the 1960's.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

None!
But there's a vital area which you must pack with grease:

The bonnet cable catch receptors behind the slam panel.
Greasing or oiling them from above doesn't get to the cable ends to prevent rust:
Peel back the 2 rubber pads (just above the radiator) and spray 1/4 of a can of spray grease into each.

We are seeing more and more Passenger side cables (the longer of the 2) hanging on by a couple of rusty strands!!

Grease them now before it's too late

Nearside release mechanism showing where to grease in situ without any dismantling as part of routine 75ZT servicing
Simply compress the rubber blocks above radiator to access the cable slots

Another shot

Slam Panel. We always pack the releases with grease during a cooling fan change
However the cables are accessible with slam panel insitu.

Modified divider block single cable entry.
Add a slice of 5/16 fuel pipe to act as a spacer

To then look like this

This shows the underside of slam panel & where I grease the bonnet catch mechanisms by hand during other tasks

I don't understand.
Well I do understand there is probably some anoying rust.
and it has something to do with the bonet release cables.
I will sertainly look at it. And try to find some suitable spray grease.
Could you take a picture to guiduance ?
Or is it really very simple to see, once the bonet is open ?

Grease nipples are a thing of the past nowadays although my little 1974 VP 1300 still has them on the steering but this was a car which originated in the 60's mine being one of the last on the road, well almost

JYJ
ps remember to apply some copper grease to the alloys to prevent them sticking onto the hubs.
