wanted- webasto time clock
despite the fact we havent really had a summer, the nights are beginning to draw in, and its getting time I sorted a controller out for the webasto heater. ( plus when I put the car up for sale I want to advertise it with a parking heater, and a toggle switch in the plenum cover doesnt really count !!).
I dont really want to pay telestart prices, so am on the lookout for the basic webasto time clock, anyone have one knocking about ? |

I bought an Oval one fitted it but I have never ever used it as a timer
I do use it to test the FBH though if the remote is not handy I also regularly forget to reset it's clock when I disconnect the battery so it spends most of its life flashing! |

Also the Oval one (model 1530 iirc) would look ok in the dash instead of the armrest where it now
I might modify a spare Walnut dash I have and fit it where the standard clock is now |

Sarkblue is doing the 1530 mini timer for £30 posted, so thats that sorted.
Keith, do you know if the switched output be used to drive a relay to ground pin 3 on the FBH or do I need to interface it as per the diagrams in RAVE ? |

I seem to remember that the voltage is too low.. and ended up doing it the other way. Its in a pdf document listed by me in the draft "how to"s.. see if that answers.
