Default wanted- webasto time clock

despite the fact we havent really had a summer, the nights are beginning to draw in, and its getting time I sorted a controller out for the webasto heater. ( plus when I put the car up for sale I want to advertise it with a parking heater, and a toggle switch in the plenum cover doesnt really count !!).

I dont really want to pay telestart prices, so am on the lookout for the basic webasto time clock, anyone have one knocking about ?

I bought an Oval one fitted it but I have never ever used it as a timer
I do use it to test the FBH though if the remote is not handy

I also regularly forget to reset it's clock when I disconnect the battery so it spends most of its life flashing!

Also the Oval one (model 1530 iirc) would look ok in the dash instead of the armrest where it now

I might modify a spare Walnut dash I have and fit it where the standard clock is now

Sarkblue is doing the 1530 mini timer for £30 posted, so thats that sorted.

Keith, do you know if the switched output be used to drive a relay to ground pin 3 on the FBH or do I need to interface it as per the diagrams in RAVE ?

I seem to remember that the voltage is too low.. and ended up doing it the other way. Its in a pdf document listed by me in the draft "how to"s.. see if that answers.
