![]() The current values are too low, but I would say that. Guessing supply and demand will start to push the values up and with the China 2 not looking to produce a V8 in the short term hopefully all looking good.

![]() Now now Tim, you're being biased
![]() The Welsh in me says that they are way too expensive but never mind, it's only because I want one! I think they will drop a bit more but only a little. The supply is still there for buyers to have the luxury of choice but that will come to an end fairly soon and from there on the prices should at least remain stable with a possible modest rise. I know that there will be a comparison with the RV8 and that is a little unfair on the saloon as the roadster has a bit of an iconic status despite more being produced (wierd as they're not really much fun to drive, the original MGB GT V8 was much nicer although rather crude). The R40 hasn't reached that yet in the wider world but I think it will pretty soon when the press start their revisiting of it and showing what a bargain it is - that will push prices up. |

![]() I paid £12,700 for mine 6 months ago.
On the price reduction side... there are only 18 older! Also had done 24k miles, so not as low mileage as some. On the price increase side... Monogram paint & interior, full SE spec, HK upgrade & memory seats. Since then, I've not seen anything comparable going cheaper! ![]()
