Having gone through a load of those pics, It's bought back a lot of memories from my 2-week work experience there. It really illustrates just how much history we lost when rover died.

I have been on that site, and just seen a fraction. It is really amazing.
A sad testimony of urban decay and neglect. And enormous loss of value. This is history in the making, and were it not for photos like these, very few people would know and even fewer care. How could personal greed and incompetence of a few lead to such devastating results? How could that be allowed?? Depressing! |

It took more than a few Kaiser. Sadly the unions led by a few ego freaks were constantly trying to put one over on the management, who in turn were determined not to give an inch no matter what the cost.. Between them they brought the Company to ruin. The Vultures made money picking over the bones... ..

The opening post of this thread, although meant in all innocence and good faith, has highlighted the important issue of copyright on images that are clearly watermarked and thus wish to be protected by their owner.
In this instance the copyright owner has now been in contact with the club requesting that his images either be credited to him accordingly or taken down. With this in mind, we have left them on view, as they will be of great interest to many members, and added the required copyright credit. I would draw everyone's attention please to FAQ club rule 5 on the subject: 5) You are prohibited from posting any material that may infringe on any intellectual property rights, copyright or trademark or any rights of any third party. Please be mindful of this, as repercussions from the source owner/s will result in the images being removed. Further to this, the image originally reproduced in post #1 which was at best 'adult in nature' has been removed, and we thank all the members who reported the post concerned Even though it was a part of the collection of images taken from the originally mentioned source site, it was wholly inappropriate for our forum. An element within Club rule 4 applies in this instance: 4) You may not publish or provide links to content that is unlawful, abusive, or a nature deemed to be adult, racist, or derogatory to minorities or gender. Thread now closed as it has run its course. |
