coolant level
a couple of weeks ago i posted a thread stating my 2003 75 2.5 v6 conny was loosing a small amount of coolant after each use.
their are no obvious signs of leakage and the car runs as sweet as a nut. the one thing i have noticed, regardless of length of journey, is that when i check the coolant level (on a dailey basis) it as always dropped to the same level (just below min mark inside header tank.coolant just visible) i have not topped the coolant up for a couple of days now and the level is as stated above. could this be its 'natural settling point'??? could the engine be blowing out any excess coolant when i top up? cheers kev. |

They seem to settle slightly differently. The main thing is that they settle, somewhere.
If that level is kept, then obviously that is where it feels comfortable, and I would just leave it there. But I would still check, and check, and check!! |
