It's been a bit of a disappointment all round this past few days for English sport in general; Footy, Rugby & F1.

I thought most of it was a **** up from beginning to end.
Tried to overdrive against Alonso at beginning when he didn't need to loosing places and time, Awful 3 stops by McLaren also ******** it up IMHO, and the problems with finding a box of neutrals seemed to take for ever to switch Programs, Ferrari do that within 8 to 12 seconds. Well Ferrari today were the Best car and drivers, there speed put the rest to shame, I know there is next year but British Sport this year what With English Football, Rugby and now F1. I mainly blame McLaren for the disaster in China where he could have easily wrapped it up if they just called him in sooner for tyres. Its not One win its the Overall performance in all races throughout the Year. |

I think we'll see Hamilton become World Champion next year. Terrible shame for him but he's had such a roller-coaster ride then he at least has a point to prove next season.

Normally he has a very cool head (slight lapse today when he tried to overtake Alonso), but he will undoubtedly be a multi World Champion in the future and also a great Ambassador for the sport.
He may not have made it this year but he has done his country proud. |

yes, lets not lose sight of where this young chap has come from, and what he has done in such a short time, Personally I don't think he was mature or experienced enough to do what the tabloids set him up to do, and wait for tomorrows headlines....
As far as I am concerned The guy did good.

....as I posted earlier a lot of the problems and responsibilities lie with McLaren Not Hamilton, he was just built up to much until he believed his own Press.
Next year maybe but at least Alonso didn't get it. |
