Question Electrics failure

I have electrical failure on my V8. Engine starts, lights work, indicators work but no indication on instrutment panel. CD stopped working. Radio works now and again. Cannot lock car using key fob. Can only lock drivers door by putting key in.
Battery compartment seems to be damp but no ingress of water.
Car was perfectly ok yesterday.
Any ideas?

Have been over to car and wiped everything dry in the battery compartment. Carpet is damp on n/s in boot but cannot see where it is coming in. No water in interior, all carpets dry. Everything is now working.
But thanks for advice. As soon as it stops raining again I will unplug.

Sounds like it's coming in through the rear wing trim strip holes!

I took mine off and sealed them all with silicone and now have a bone dry boot!

May be worth just checking the rear light seals as well though!
