Hope it gets better soon Rod. I am not one for pain killers. When my back goes I can't move one inch. Luckly this only happens a couple of times a year. The caravan bit made me laugh though

Looks like you had a great night Jeff. I could feel the red glow from your bonce emitting through my screen. Must just be hot in there eh

I is fine Andy, how is you Sir
Fine ta & looking forward to the weekend. My sympathies to Rod and his dodgy back. Reminds me of when I was on an army assault course & did my back in jumping down from a high wall. Did everything properly, feet together, knees bent etc. Remember the SM screaming at me to get up when I was rolling around in agony on the frosty mud....

Couple of Ebay parcels to post then along to the other house, shelves to put up. Late breakfast/early lunch first.

Sympathy is with you Rod, done my back before. Mostly muscular but the worst I did was working in the garden, bent over to pull a weed and literally felt the crunch in my lower back, thought that ain't gonna be good! Within a couple of days I could hardly walk, I'd done a disc in my lower back which became inflamed and swollen which in turn trapped the nerve that runs into the right leg, by far one of the worst pains I have ever experienced. Even the horse painkillers the doc gave me didn't really kill the pain, knocked me out but didn't kill the pain! The only way I can describe it is think of the worst toothache you have ever experienced and imagine that pain in your hip. I was laid up for a while, I could only get relief lying on my right side on the lounge floor, must have positioned my spine in such a way that it relieved the pressure on the nerve.

Missus reckons my back is a refreshing change from me being a pain in the neck
Having said that, she is out there with the Karcher - pressure washing the drive, so I shouldn't complain

G'day Stu!
Are you now a man of leisure for a few hours?
Are you still coming "oop North" for the Tam Memorial Meet at Carter Bar on the 17th?
