Good morning Derek, I am just picking on your good news about Lilian and yourself. Hopefully a good omen for better things to come

A simple job yesterday a.m on the 4x4, became a pig of a job. Tightening up a nut in one of those 'hard to get' places in the engine, the nut sheered off damn it lol

Whilst we are away, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law take it in turns to run the 4x4 for me. Since returning, the central locking and electric Windows do not work. Further investigations have revealed that the wires to the car alarm and anti-car Jack system have been cut. Some how this affects the doors, windows and is coded into the ECU, so will need a specialist to sort out. Both relatives deny cutting the wires....humm

A visit to the dentist tomorrow, to carry out repairs. I lost 2 front teeth when I fell down the stairs

Welcome to the day

I'm resisting the temptation to put them on the car now, appointment with the specialist about my shoulder late Friday PM. If its dry at the weekend I'll get them swapped.

PS: The beast will be definately ready Friday but, depending on when (above appointment), might not be able to collect her 'til Saturday morning. She was sitting outside the body shop, Boss was saying the rear door needs a wee adjustment, some trim to go back on and a final clean up.
A professional finish Steve. You must be pleased. All the best for your visit to see the specialist on Friday.

Morning all, a very heavy overnight frost here so looks like the 100% up and running FBH will come in handy later Fingers crossed that it's going to be a sunny one again

Morning Phil, Steve, Steve, Steve, Steve, Steve, Steve and of course, Steve! Morning all! I'm up somewhat earlier than normal considering I was on Lates last night...

It's a glorious morning and I need to give Alison her usual spring deep cleaning!

Today is exterior spa treatment; Clay; Scratch removal; Compound; Polish; Wax!

Tomorrow is the annual interior deep clean with Rug Doctor!

Anyway; must get started! Lemon and Raisin pancakes and strong coffee first!

Have a great day!

Awww! Cheers George! That's made me feel all warm- as warm as a car that has an electric auxiliary heater!
