that sounds like a good idea John, I would be up for it as a national meet venue, there's a caravan site just along the road in Barnard Castle too

Stu and I discussed this on the day and we agreed what a fantastic venue, Bowes will be very accommodating, these events are great promotional subject for these establishments.

Hiya Stu,

As you know mate,i managed along on Sunday, albeit without either 75,but still made it,because as you may know i have always wanted to appear at a meet with our cars at this particular venue.

It is,in my opinion, not only a fantastic place for a car meet, but also a very appropriate venue which i think sets off our cars to their best,so i must say, even though it was a great show to attend,i was a little disappointed our cars weren't on display on the top level.

I know it wasn't our show & limited space on the top, plus it was only right that the P6 club should display there vehicles on there.I also appreciate we were guests & very much appreciate our club members being invited, many thanks to the P6 club for this.

It is with this in mind,if you don't mind me putting this forward Stu,that this would make a very suitable & appropriate venue for a possible national meet for our club,or indeed at the very least a meet of club members if this could be arranged.

If something could possibly be arranged,if you need any help,I would deem it a great honour to be involved with this, many thanks Stu,I look forward to hearing from you.

Very Best Regards.

John.

PS, Co-incidentally Stu, this months Calendar shot is of Bluey & Vixen, taken at Bowes Museum, whilst on our way home from Harewood last year.

Thanks Stu, got your PM and it does look like a very nice venue. Can you find out from them what the charges are for a day's meet and how many vehicles they would have space to accommodate (anywhere between 50 - 130) for our needs.

Let me know via PM, and we can take it from there
