Rest assured as soon as I get the unit, I will give a full report and pictures of both the RDS (but I don't think there has been any modifications to it yet) and the TMC screen. It was not me with the Achilles Tendon.

Hi all, does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the bluetooth phone? I am using my old Nokia bluetooth handsfree kit, but the built in system keeps 'talking' to my phone asking if it wants to connect....very annoying. I'm only still using the Nokia system as the mic on the built in unit is not very good. I suppose another option would be to try and connect an external mic...anyone know how to do this?
Thanks for your help Gordon |

Thanks for your vote of confidence, Sean
Bluetooth is very hit and miss IMHO. The BT audio quality on my Chinese double din as is good as my previous, even-though the Kenwood had a remote mic. The BT in SWMBO's car does not like my iPhone at all and yet works fine with her phone. I would try another phone before resorting to installing a remote mic.

I'm using a Sony Ericsson phone connected to the Nokia handsfree. I have not paired the head unit BT to the phone, but it still asks to connect even when the phone is connected to the Nokia system! If it is possible, I would like to turn the BT off on the head unit..
Thanks Gordon |
