Been reasonable here but a clear sky and it feels like the temperature is dropping rapidly. Feels a lot colder than its supposed to be

Evenin' all, It's still bitterly cold outside. I let the missus do the shopping as it's Valentines day and put my feet up in front of the fire watching 'Star wars the force awakens' this afternoon.

Seafood Risotto for tea.

Don't know what happened to you but we have been sitting in the conservatory all afternoon because it was warm.
Still it would shine on the righteous wouldn't it.

Been a nice sunny day here - but still a cold wind from the East.
Just had a pleasant surprise with the quote for plastering my living room,
Basically, we'll strip it bare, he will fill a variety of holes (including a large one where the gas fire & back boiler used to be), sort out all the other bits where the removal of tiling and skirting has left damage - then plaster the lot - INCLUDING the ceiling - £310 all in

More like the devil looking after his own up here - but I think he's let the fires burn low

Good morning Micky, so what's bugging you?

A couple of weeks ago I was in hospital and felt anxious being there. When I asked the doc for sleepers, he said 'tough! you have to chalk it up to a bad night', bizarre as in Kenya peeps can buy them over the counter without a prescription. I do have them at home, but never use them as they can make you feel groggy the next day and it's so easy to get hooked.

There are a few insomniacs here
