Strange thing this morning I passed two post offices one being our local one & it had a police guard, as did the other post office delivery in the next town. never seen that before, I went to get some money out of the ATM & the policeman watched me like an hawk as I'd parked at the back of the post office van....do people driving Rover 75's & wearing flat caps rob post offices! just come back from what i was told just a browsing trip to the shops called into furniture store on way past, spent over ￡300 on reclng chair and rug, got back in car and drove home, expensive hour,

Good afternoon Derek and Lilian. Its great to hear from you Jessica has been out in the garden this morning replanting parts of the lawn with tufts of grass from the meadow. Whilst we were out the other day, the cook from her mums house came back round and took the lawn mower for a spin, shaving the grass and taking the top soil off at the same time. He must have set the blade too low. We had to put down manure and do it the old fashioned way as one cannot buy grass seed in the shops. The cook is good at cooking, but I have asked him not to come to our garden, he must be deaf or something. He is not even a gardener. It is quite bizarre.

Woof25 RIP had a leather recliner with matching footrest from IKEA which no one wanted and the charities were not interested, even though there was nothing wrong with it. I had a struggle to find it home for it. As you have found, such things command a high price.
