Evenin' all, What an afternoon! Mam rang to say she had banged her leg & it wouldn't stop bleeding, as she's on Warfarin I took her down to the 'walk in centre' at the hospital.

You lose all will to live when the sign at the back of the receptionist says 'Treatment waiting time between 3 & 3 1/2 hours' It turned out to be a 4 1/2 hour wait. I've got to take her back on Monday morning for the dressing changed.

I'm afraid I couldn't cope with the amount of time you spend in hospital's and waiting rooms Ian. On a better note Aldi have Pork and Black Pudding sausages up for sale... effing lovely .

It seems to be never ending at present Steve. I rarely go a week with no appointments for them. once they have tests for some ailment it leads to a whole battery of other tests, Besides mams appointment on Monday I've got dads dementia appointment on Wednesday & another appointment to have another injection in his eye Thur or Fri! It's a job to keep up.

Sounds tasty I'll have to have a trip down to Aldi then.

Try train driving. On the engineering jobs where the train didn't have to move very often I could sleep with a 3,250 HP diesel engine idling behind me.
