I advise you NOT to break into the postal station ! I am sure it is alarmed, I know your car is fast and with a good mask the risks are lessened but We strongly advise that you wait until tomorrow.

PS. If you do decide to break in, please try to install it fast, check the TMC and send pics from your IPHONE Before the police arrive!

Hehehhehe
I think he has a good chance if he tries, with that unit he'd certainly know where he's going and if the TMC works, where the traffic jams are!

Looking good Richard,

I am awiting everything !..Head Unit, Camera DVB-T the lot so will be having a VERY busy weekend as soon as I get my eager hands on all the kit !...

Been wondering about running the video cable from behind the dash to the boot in readiness though, but am unsure on the connections required...

I know I need a phono plug one end but will I need a phono socket the other or another plug ?..

Was thinking about making one up with either 6 core alarm cable ( 3 cores each side ) or using some Cat 5 Network cable instead...which will make it easy to run through the car..

Hi, having read through this thread I'am tired and my eyes are weeping

I have a Rover 75 V8 with Traffic Master messaging next to the speedo and a High Line audio without the H&K AMP AND BOOSTER.

Can I get one off these head units that will be ..

Plug and Play (not the PC version of plug and don't play)
have Digital TV - comes with an aerial?
Sat Nav as good as TomTom (not the BMW rubbish)
RDS - on the radio
Rover logo on start up

will I need any additional leads and if so what, I don't need or want Ipod or TMC

will the Rover TMC still work? as I quite like the messages on the dash!

how soon and how much will it cost me! and where do I order?
