It's turned a lot cooler down here too, with the threat of a snow shower or two on Friday.
Dont care what happens this week, or next weather wise, as long as its decent weather for 10/11 January on my trip south.

Good afternoon all, It's still raining here, I've got the battery maintainer on the old Chevy in the drive, it only read 10V, I'm trying to keep that battery going because when the time comes for it to go I want to be able to drive it out instead of pushing it out.

Day two stood over the cooker. Festive season meals have somehow become my responsibility. Yesterday was roast pork with every conceivable accompaniment, today its a turkey crown with every conceivable accompaniment. Oh for a cheese sarnie!

A lump of roast pork, you have the main meal, maybe enough to have cold with chips the following day, possibly squeeze a sarnie as well. Turkey, I don't particularly like turkey and they're so big! There's only the two of us, the crown Ging got, I don't think we ate a quarter of it, be eating the bleedin' stuff for days. First mention of a curried turkey and I'm phoning for pizza.
