Hi Mark ,
I Do Understand and I apologize, we took 2 Kicks at the cat. (figuratively speaking for the animal lovers out there)

If the Splitter is required we will not be charging any extra. We have sourced them ourselves in case the factory has some excuse NOT to provide them.

Its 1 AM in HK Now so Hopefully we will have a response quickly and get this show on the road !

You would have thought that as a company, they would want their BEST work out in the public domain rather than a very lame attempt..

Is this splitter that is required for the TMC going to be included or are we having to pay extra for that ?..

I am already commited to the purchase as I have already paid and like everyone else has said, it's no deal breaker, it just would be have been so much "cleaner"..

So how soon are we going to be able to get in production then ?..

Sean,

You have done your best for us we all know and thank you for that..
I think they probably just couldn't be bothered and know that they will still get the business which is a shame !..

Anyway, am chomping at the bit waiting for mine !!

Sean, re. the RDS problem.

'Our' unit is obviously only one of MANY different ones that are made to fit various cars. With that in mind, does it mean that they ALL have this problem? Does the factory that is manufacturing ours ONLY make ours? Surely, a factory that makes several different types would know whether or not they have the same problem and if not, know why.

I find it hard to believe it is such a big ask, after all, something had to be written in the programme (or whatever) to get the letters and numbers in THAT position, surely, just getting them in the middle can't be that hard!!

I am on your side guys.
We hit them 2 times on it, sent in all of the comments.
I am not 100% sure what is involved but these factories employ outside Firmware Solutions. Many times even THEY don't have a copy of the firmware ! It is embedded in the boards and in this case the RDS chip.

I am not making excuses, I wish they would do it . Believe me, if it was simply a time Issue, I would simply put it to vote.

As has already been said, we can just have the navigation screen/pictures on instead, so we won't have to look at the radio display anyway. You can change station and everything just by using the controls on the steering wheel without even going to the radio screen, or just turn the screen off altogether.

At the end of the day I would like my Head Unit this month !...

However, if the general feeling ( 75% + ) of all of us who have actually placed orders is that they would like to wait and try and get them to change their minds and change this screen then so be it..( think we may just be fighting a losing battle though )

As mentioned in other posts, how many of us are going to be looking at the radio screen all the time ?..Yes it would be better and really finish it off well
BUT it might be just worth getting these into production and get them in our sticky little hands !

That's where I am on this !

Mark I'm with you on this, it's now got to the point where we've been waiting for ages...my dashboard has been looking like this for too long...
