Afternoon all, Very nice afternoon 19C cloudy with the odd sunny spell & a light breeze....perfick.

I've been doing some gardening & putting the roller blind back up over the kitchen window.

We'll be having a chicken salad for tea tonight but I've been informed NO salad dressing

as it's not allowed on their diet list.

Not a bad day been hunting my circlip pliers amongst my tools ready for Sunday going to change the UJ;s on the propshaft on the p6 should be fun.
Good old fish & chips for me.

Had a strange email from purporting to be from Hastings Direct who I haven't had a policy with for a number of years. Saying they miscalculated my NCB on my last policy with them and they are due me a (small) refund

Says to click on this link to check your details are correct and a cheque will be issued. Hmm . . . . not convinced about that.

Got dragged down the pub by a friend of mine who said that I needed a break. After the thirst pint I had to agree.

We met up with friends from 40 years ago today. They now live in Plymouth (we met near Liskeard), and they gave us a guided tour of some of the lesser known beaches and coves such as Polperro, and then places on the Rame Peninsula such as Portwrinkle, Kingsand & Cowsand. The sun came out to play, and we managed to find a decent lunch (pork and leek sausages on a bed of garlic mash and pork gravy).
A pint of Thatchers Haze accompanied the lunch, and I've just finished a bottle of Thatchers Summer Vintage to go with the homemade pepperoni pizza we've just demolished s a light evening snack

More or less the perfect day

Morning peeps, a quick dash to get the bacon baguette in this morning then it's up to the boat after breakfast.

Taking Dad out on the water for the weekend for an early Fathers day.
My brother will be meeting up with us on Sunday as well and we shall be off to the New Inn Horning for Sunday lunch
