6 year old MGZT 190's are worth more in bits then as whole cars.........if fuel and VED increases carry on, this will become more common.....

I agree

If that was a similar age Triumph Dolomite shell there would be masses of rust holes!!
Looks a very clean shell David


Just thought David.......... can you take some shots of the Plenum area and other Nooks we can't normally see???

Newbies do now!!
1. Plenum drains..all 3 or 4 year dependent
2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning
3. Bonnet cable divider block

It is such a shame to see a car in it's final form like this with no damage or rust. The big question is, is the "break" going to realise your recouping more than selling it as a whole?

Even considering the amount of work involved in breaking it?

And tell me Greeners, was there actually anything wrong with the car before you tore it apart?

Nothing wrong with it, it drove beautifully, but if you start adding up the cost of a set of belts, clutch and a few other jobs that were coming up, plus the huge rise in fuel, the economics just don't make sense.

Trust me, if you ask Les or Kevin at SMC it wasn't taken lightly.......

And it comes to bits very easily........
