Hi Dave.
No mate it was Don's car wedgewood blue, he knew about the condenser earlier in the year but real life stuff got in the way, wanted it done before winter set in.

After a lot of thinking about it, i finally did my rear brakes, It was brutal, it had to be, bolts were rounded and nothing seemed to work, so i purchased a spare set of carriers, and had to resort to cutting the old ones out, First i very carefully sliced the old ones so i could get the disc off, then stripped the hubs out so i could get she shield free, then it was a case of putting a slitting disc in to where the bolts were and cutting to free them, of course the old carriers were scrap now, but it was the only way, and i had the spares at hand, once off it was a case of cleaning everything up and refitting the handbrake shoes, adjusting everything, and then new disks and pads, I now have a very good handbrake and that's one of the advisories from last year done and now i have an exhaust to change, but i might get someone to do that.

MOT day today, after spending the weekend sorting out the part locked/part unlocked back seat. After having seen similar with Dave's car at the last Nano, at least I knew roughly where to start. Seat now fuly functioning and locking into place. Fingers crossed for the rest of the car!

Today I managed to fit the last of the Speckle Blue Seats I got from SonicZS last month. Took a bit longer than usual because the two connections under the seat had been cut off. Had to cut the connectors off my seat to fit onto the Speckle Blue. All ok, no explosions. and no lights on dash.

And another year's happy motoring! Two advisories - chipped screen and the start of some brake pipe corrosion around the tank, so it'll be out with the Bilt Hamber and coat the affected pipes in plenty of gunk until I can have a go at them next year.

Yeah, cheers for that. Car now sticks like a limpet on 3 clicks!
I think I stuck my name down on the Nano site. It'll be Sunday again as by the time I'm done with the 'responsible adult' stuff on a Saturday, it's not worth the trek.

Default Removal of rear wheel arch liner to inspect sill

I decided to remove the O/S/R wheel arch liner to inspect the end of the sill on my tourer as I noticed a small rust patch at the bottom of the wheel arch, after removal of the liner I was greeted with the situation in the image, I removed the rubber bung and injected some dinatrol and liberally coated the surface of the corroded area with Kurust and then Black Hamerite, I consider myself lucky that I have caught this creeping rust patch before it started to eat into the sill proper
