Good morning Andy, you certainly deserve a lay in bed. Today, I chatted with my friendly mechanic in the UK and he is changing the belt etc, etc on the V6. I asked him to replace a corroded brake cable/pipe. There is always something to do with these 20 year old Rovers. The other issue is the PCB on the registration number plate light, identified in the last MOT as needing attention. I hope I can get another couple of years out of the car. Have a great day, resting up and relaxing
A friend of mine who you know is due back from his holiday in the Philippines this week and he has an S reg Rover 75, currently sorned. It is in need of serious input from a mechanic with a trailer. The alternative is the scrap yard. It would be a shame to see it go that way. |

Good morning Bob, I hope everything goes smoothly and you have some help moving to your new home. Do not hurt yourself lifting or bending over to pick things up, mind your back, as it is easily done to pull a muscle or a disc out.

Morning all from a very wet Tyneside, it has rained all night, and is still doing so.
Off to see my mother this afternoon, and then a steam and vintage vehicle rally tomorrow if it dries up.

There would be no creeping up quietly behind animals on Safari with this thing fitted. From Nairobi it would sound like a low rumble of Thunder in the Ngong Hills! Could you remind me of your email - sorry I have a few Phil’s listed - Are you an iCloud address? Best Wishes Clive Edit - belay that - just found it - pics will with you soon. Well that was a wet dog walk! We managed to dodge the rain but the fields were sodden.

Morning all.
What a day yesterday. All moved in. A few bits left behind. Will get them sold.

Talk about comedy capers here!!! that huge wardrobe my missus bought that was supposed to be the same size as the old one! Ha!
It's way too big for the room & when I put the base boards down you couldn't open the flamin' door On top of that I dismantled the wonky old wardrobe in a manner that it wouldn't ever be going back up and have already contacted the local council & paid for it online to be removed on Tuesday So now I've got two huge wardrobes in flatpack in the living room and nowt to put clothes/my stuff in in my mancave I should have known better after being married for 46 years to my missus she has never ever checked owt proper

Nice and sunny here. Might nip out to Tesco and see if there are any bargains to be had. Then again maybe not as the usual suspects tend to monopolise the clearance area at certain times to secure it for themselves - quite embarrassing to watch at times.
I have had a apparition of a sliding door ... in a bedroom I think ... but then again maybe not. |
