Made that mistake once, never again! Had a few of them while Ging was working in Windermere, lovely but they only do them during "tourist season". Rest of the year its "standard" pork pies.

Good morning all, I dropped Jessica off yesterday for her flight to Nairobi. Then I spent 9 hours at The Ace Cafe Wembley, for meals and refreshments with Ed. We replaced the VIS motors and a defunct number plate lamp PCB with a new one/new boot lid handle. Ed is going to repair and recondition the old one, which I will keep as a spare. Also replaced the rear light cluster (driver’s side) with a new one.
Whilst I was removing one the long screws holding the VIS housing, as I moved the main brake pipe to one side, it snapped! It must have been old and brittle. It was repaired using superglue and duck tape to keep it joined up and to keep the vacuum seal, a temporary repair. A blooming nuisance, but the brakes worked okay, pumped good and I drove back to Bristol last night without any problems along the way, took my time, no issues |

Crikey Phil that brake pipe must have been in a bad way, I’d get them all checked out ASAP mate.

Afternoon all, what a day! Mam's wound on her leg where she fell the other week wasn't healing so I rang the clinic to see if the district nurse would have a look at it, When we get to the clinic they told us you need to contact her doctor & get bandages with a prescription from the chemist because they don't stock them there any more It's getting beyond ridiculous
Then when I get back I noticed our elderly neighbours (90) garage door was open & leaning at a odd angle just an inch from hitting this car roof, He said it was damaged last night when the wind got inside the garage when he was trying to shut it & snapped the return steel cable. I managed to wrestle it back into the runners so he could get his car out at least.

Been a better day today in the forest, got a couple of drizzle showers and one heavy downpour at lunchtime but not bad in comparison with the rest of the week
