Yeah, they conned me Bob! They all told me it was a 11:00hrs start, so I got there a 10:55hrs and I was nearly the last to arrive!!! And Bob, you're right, it kept the baby protected from the worst of the icy wind!

Many thanks again to Pete for organizing this meet, it was a great turn out despite being very very cold,(it would be nice to have a meet at this venue once a month with its popularity. tongue in cheek)

Yes, a great meet as usual, many thanks to Pete for organising it.
Some fantastic pics there, Mark, it was good to meet you and all the other members who braved the cold to stand around for so long to natter about our cars. Impressed by how far some of you had to drive - a great effort all round! |

Well we managed three Colin's in the same place at the same time again! I know I'm the newest Colin to the flock but you guys made me feel welcome once again
Thanks Pete for organising the meet, glad I had a spare coat to keep warm! however I'm sure I could've used Pete's Muhammad Ali air boxing impression to keep warm ha ha ha. Many many thanks to Phil for your work with the T4! I think he must've been to tesco on the way in because my 75 came away with a load more horses crammed in under the bonnet Thanks again and see you guys on the next |

For those of us who were wondering what the odd extra pipework under the bonnet of Pete's ZT was for, it's a 'vacuum enhancer' for the brake servo, fitted to all V6 automatics from 2003 onwards (possibily ZT only - the list says 2.5 for ZT only, but doesn't say anything for the 2.0).
It was still bugging me so I looked it up on Rimmers. Last edited by Bolin; 4th March 2013 at 21:33.. |
