Oh heck! Bob, No cooker on Christmas day would be a nightmare, Hope they can sort it out, I had the engineer guy out from Electricity North West t'other day to safety check our electricity system.
The people at BP Pulse for the 7kw wall charger need photographic evidence of Earth Bonding clamps on the water & gas pipework, There are earth wires going off the old bakerlite fuse board under the floorboards to who knows where so cant photograph them
He checked the earths & they gave a reading well within specs but the guys at BP said.........

Afternoon all.

Been a cold one here but no snow. The wind is that cut straight through you sort. Brrrrrr.

Quizzie has had her Xmas Eve walk. Avoided the river but tried to dig a mole out of it's home - and failed .

Have the best one you can.

All the very best to you and yours.

Evening all. We have just completed 14 days self quarantine since arriving back from South Africa. The past 3 days I had a vomiting bug. Today is the first day I have been able to keep anything down. Jessica has not been affected by the bug. I fancy a Chelsea Bun

Festive greetings to all of our friends in the club.

This has been quite a year. Fortunately, it is coming to an end and we really want 2021 to be much better than 2020. Sometimes it feels like a nightmare, one in which we just want to wake up and see that it was just a bad dream and that, after all, everything is really okay. The British are resilient, inventive, resourceful and will get through these hard times.

All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Cool

I’m back. We have power and warmth.

Good job the sun has been out for most of the day, just a quick shower to spoil it all. And back to blue sky again.

Thankfully all is ok with Lady Emma and all other boats at our Marina.
It's nice to have good neighbours there and also to have installed the CCTV on board so we can keep an eye on things.

We were due to be there on Boxing Day but for obvious reasons that won't be going ahead now.

Hopefully the next few days should be drier and let the water levels go down.
