Morning fellow late risers - if there are any of those out there
We've got a good covering of the white stuff again today - and it's still snowing quite heavily - which is why I didn't rush to get out of my nice warm cot A day for staying indoor and close to a radiator

Morning Rod, My missus asked what the weather was like when I took her breakfast up at 9:00am, I said it's snowed overnight, that north easterly wind is Baltic & it's sleeting at the moment, She said I'll stay where I am then in a warm bed

I was going to have a trip out in the car to Wilkco's but that wind blows right through you so as it's only a fiver for delivery I shall stay in front of the fire & get them delivered
They're having a sale on kitchen pots & pans etc so as our roasting trays have seen better days & are going rusty I've ordered some Pyrex roasters & I need some more 'blood fish & bone' fertiliser too for me plants.

The sleet showers turned into steady rain this afternoon just as I've got most of the garage dried/aired out
Seafood fried rice for tea.

Afternoon all, apologies for my non attendance over last 10 days or so..
The reason for my absence is my mental health has taken a nose dive again. I have been in a really bad way and in a total mess,I mean REALLY bad to the extent I had even considered"getting out of it". It was a build up stupid non important things that went wrong and caused a moment of madness, thankfully when I looked at the "method";it wasn't going to be possible without hassle and I came to my senses. I told my wife that night, and have been trying to deal with things my own way but after the way I ended up one day last week I had to admit defeat and seek medical intervention. I have a close friend who I have known since we were kids who has been there twice and come through the other side,so I spoke to him and he has been great for me. Both he and my cousin have been ringing or messaging several times a day.Today is the first day I have felt reasonably at ease so the meds must be kicking in.I'm still far from right and have continued working,as it gives me something to focus on ,but not really up to chatting with folk yet. I will be back, but I need to sort my head out for now. Catch y'all later.

I think the current situation is getting to everyone Rich. I've been a bit snappy today, worried about Ging possibly bringing the virus from her work and no word of my vaccine despite having several of the underlying conditions, tired of not being able to go anywhere other than the shops, wrists (particularly the right) giving me grief.
Always look on the bright side of life . . . . |

I am extremely indifferent about food, have been for a long time. I'll have a proper dinner maybe once a week, sometimes even less frequently. Most days I'll have toast in the morning and something light, toast or a sarnie in the evening, just no interest in food.
