Afternoon all, Phew! The sun has made an appearance & it's a sizzler here now.

Most tomato vines have baby tomatoes set on them now so Comfrey tea mixing time to give them a good feed. Finished off mowing the lawns & I'm dripping with sweat. Just poured some ice cold Henry's over a pint glass full of ice cubes.

Ours (Vax Rapide) cost less than fifty quid on Gumtree about ten years ago, still going strong.

Grey and dank here, still drying here after heavy overnight rain.

Dinner prepared or should I say preparing, sweet and sour chicken. Chicken pieces currently marinating in a sweet and sour sauce. Just need to fish the chicken pieces out of the sauce with a strainer, fry them in a little oil to colour them then add the sauce and simmer for a while. By the way, the sauce didn't come out of a jar or bottle, home made . . . . by me

All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

I got this off ebay a couple of years ago for £90, It's been a cracking machine & cleans the carpet/suite very well.

Why can't the Chinese get someone who can actually speak English to write instructions for them? Before my wife left for work she said "fit the new screen protector on my phone". Instructions are in "English" . . . . unfathomable English!

"Paste the switching pulling out tag on one edge, and conveniently split it towards the other side mdomly to detach the original pad pasting"

"After tear off the original pad pasting, stick out dust bn the apparatus or pad pasting gently by the absorption side of the dust removal paste"

I have no idea what they are talking about

Morning all, a grey but rather clammy start to the day here.

F1 and BTCC to keep me amused through the day

Took this of our Fliss yesterday.....She's coming up to 18 years old now
