Be careful feeding onions to dogs Andy.
They are toxic to them !

Morning everyone
Supposed to be cooler but the outside temperature is currently 25 degrees. Rain expected tomorrow. So today it’s essential shopping day. Need to top up on the cider.

Same today as it has been the last few days, cooler and cloudy in the morning then the sun breaks through in the afternoon and the temp rockets. Been pottering in the garden but its getting too warm now, dead headed roses, hacked back the wild roses etc that were creeping over the wall from the museum next door and chopped the top of a conifer at the back, was starting to get too high. I was surprised how thick the branches were, most I managed with the big loppers but two were over an inch and I had to attack them with a saw.

Afternoon all, Bloomin' 'eck! It's got scorchio again this afternoon I've been decanting more stinky comfrey tea into two litre milk containers for tomato feed & I remembered to wear rubber gloves this time I've also been getting some more fresh taters ( Maris Peer) out of the garden for tonight's tea with Roast chicken Why I've got the oven on in this heat I dunno It's way too hot for this lad. Time for a ice cold Henry again, I'm going to be an alky if this heatwave continues

Evening all, I spent the day recovering from the Delhi Belly, no more V or D, to the perverts - it is not VD, work it out Nice weather here at 28C. Jessica went for a swim in the sea which she thoroughly enjoyed. The swimming strengthens her muscles without straining them. Today, I received an email quote for my annual private health insurance which came in at mega bucks! with an excess for standard cover and includes medical repatriation/air ambulance. For people who don’t know, Kenya doesn’t have a National Health Service, all care has to be paid for by the patient or by the patient’s family or through health insurance. I checked how much I paid last year and it’s gone up by £300, so not complaining too much
