Morning Ian, lucky you have hair to be cut Yesterday we went walking Chew Valley Lake and had a picnic. We treated ourselves to an ice cream from Mr Softee, a 99 Last time we had a 99 it was 99p and yesterday it was £2.50. How times have changed. But it was good and it did not make us sick. Whilst walking, the cardiologist rang and said the ECG and cardiac stress test results were excellent. So that was great news. Next step to see the vascular surgeon to set up the op. Today we are driving over the Severn Bridge to see Cauldicot Castle and to have a picnic. It looks as though it’s going to be nice with the weather. Enjoy your day Last edited by Gate Keeper; 29th July 2022 at 07:46.. |

The sun has broke through the clouds this afternoon & boy is it muggy now. 100% humidity is no use to man or beast, It's another sweatathon. I need a ice cold Henry
Tomatoes are doing well in the heat though, A variety I'm growing called 'Shirley' has bumper trusses of 8-10 big tomatoes on them One of the lower trusses of 10 tomatoes broke under the weight of them I've had to tie the upper trusses up to support them.

Some good news! Bolton urology dept rang this afternoon to say the Bone scan & the MRI scan were both OK
They said I will get some appointments next week as to what course of action to treat the prostate either hormone & radiotherapy treatment or surgery, Don't fancy the surgery route as they said if I have it removed I will be permanently incontinent

Not a happy bunny . . . . at all. I have a special model I made for my father when he was still with us, the Police traffic car he used to drive, Austin Westminster. Sits fixed to a wooden display base. It was kit bashed from a model Westminster, made the Police specific parts etc for it. We had visitors yesterday, with two rather wild kids, I noticed earlier both wing mirrors on the model are gone, broken off and disappeared, the police sign on the roof has been broken off and the blue light from the top of the sign is gone . . . . thoroughly pee'd off and more than a little upset
