That was a bit close! Storm Nalgae in the Philippines, 45 dead, flash floods, landslides etc. It struck under 200 miles from where Ging's family is.

Still raining off & on here, Proper miserable wet day. It's clocks back this weekend where I struggle with two of our digital clocks again, I cant remember from one year to the next how I did them, Even reading the instructions is like double Dutch
The Rover should be the right time this weekend lol. Corned beef hash & a few soft dumplings for tea

I have a cunning plan! Going to swap the washing machine and dishwasher, something we've thought about before. There's plenty of room for the washing machine where the dishwasher is (stands alone under a counter), the only slight complication is the water feed pipe, the pipe to the dishwasher isn't long enough, purely because it goes to the bottom of the dishwasher but has to reach the top of the washing machine. Had a look on the bay and you can get 3.5m hoses which would be long enough for a straight swap rather than trying to extend it. The dishwasher is a Bosch, so is the washing machine so don't anticipate any major grief swapping the drain hoses, I "think" its connected too an extension hose behind the panelling under the cupboards.
Its a slimline dishwasher but have "panelling" from when the kitchen was done that will fill the gap. Err . . . . no I don't! Just had a look in the garage. Not a major headache. Speaking of clocks, I can never remember if the bedroom one self adjusts or not Last edited by stevestrat; 29th October 2022 at 14:12.. |

Had one (well two) last go(s) at getting the washing machine where it belongs, nah, not happening. Frustrating, RHS goes right back, LHS won't, only needs to back about an inch but something is stopping it solid. Where it sits in the corner can't fully open the door of the cupboard at 90% to it. Dishwasher swap is on, washing machine is in as far as it'll go for now until I get the longer water hose, just need to be careful with the cupboard door.

Morning, extra hour in bed turned out to be irrelevant! Hardly slept, stiff and sore after wrestling the washing machine again last night

The downside for me with the clocks going back is that I have to get up earlier if I want to take more sunrise photos Yesterday it was sunny and hot....22c we reached here! This morning, it's grey and wet, still mild though at 14c.

Morning everyone.
If there is a bug going round I’m sure to catch it. Felt unwell yesterday and not much better today. Appetite is ok so that’s a good sign.

A very good morning, I hope everything is going okay. Is there any good news in the chill out lounge?
Let’s see…… 22C Jeff yesterday must have been very pleasant for the time of year. I did see you were up early, was it 04:00 I saw you on the boards? Looking forward to seeing the photos. Chief moaner for Scotland - hopefully everything is going to work out, otherwise chin up and Carry On Lancashire is rainy Bob, I hope you’re not coming down with something. Keep drinking your favourite tipple and enjoy your new air fryer, yum yum, you’ll be okay. So yesterday I managed to complete all of our Christmas shopping online and did the 4 flights of stairs. Every day there is a little improvement Have a good one ….. Last edited by Gate Keeper; 30th October 2022 at 07:30.. |
