Purchase from a reputable source. If buying from Amazon, make sure it is direct from them rather than a reseller on their site for example. The fakes look almost identical to the real deal, including the packaging so it can be hard to tell. The only way you really know is that the read/write speed may be slower and the stated memory size may be fictitious! Don't know to much about the cards your new camera uses as they are different to my DSLR which uses compact flash. The new version of my camera uses CF Express cards.

Phoning the endocrine department achieved . . . . absolutely bugr all! Secretary phoned back, said she'd email the specialist as he may want to postpone the upcoming appointment . . . . that was it apart from a dumb suggestion that I go to the chemist's again to check the stuff hadn't come in . . . . oh, I never thought to do that. What a pointless exercise.

Well, what an interesting few weeks it's been. Moving in to my new flat to start third year at university, my 21st birthday, two vintage bus weekends, endless group assignments, both of the cars dying (the Rover is alive again, the Citroën has a strange electrical glitch and only wakes up when it feels like it!); and joining the Scottish Dance society, making friends with one of the sweetest people I've met in the process. My mood is going up and down: I'm not enjoying my course, but I've been remedying that by going for walks to look at all of the autumn colours and watch the endless stream of geese, and by going for the odd drive in my anti-depression machine a.k.a. the Rover!
Gate Keeper/Phil, very pleased to hear of your consistent progress since your operation. You're being remarkably patient with it all. coolcat/Jeff, your pictures that you've been sharing with us recently are fabulous. My favourites are your ones of Fliss and of the sunrise over the bridge. roverbarmy, I quite agree about a croissant at 7am not keeping me going, I find that if I wake up very early and have breakfast at 6-ish (such as on my mad trips out to catch old trains and buses that I sometimes do), I'm hungry again by 9 and end up having to have second breakfast! stevestrat/Steve, I'm sorry about your ongoing issues with the hormone supplies, I do hope your dogs will help to cheer you up until they arrive |

Morning all,
Been a bit windy through the night...Outside that is I'm working in Colchester this morning and then up to the boat this afternoon. Might be an interesting nights sleep onboard with this windy weather. Photo shoot in Norfolk tomorrow morning and then back home again. The beef stew I cooked yesterday went down very well.......Stupid me forgot to take my usual photo

Morning everyone.
Well, that was one hell of a storm last night. Cloudy start and turned a tad chilly outside this morning.
