Every little thing wasn't challenged and rules were rules and everyone mixed together without umpteen passes to get anywhere.

There's a couple of quotes I like:

Auto racing, bull fighting, and mountain climbing are the only real sports... all the others are games.

Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence: in other words it is war minus the shooting.

It's Tuesday so it's play time for Quizzie with Bertie. No Bridget today as the poor girl has got kennel cough .

Take care everyone.
I’m like that too, no interest in football but I helped with managing a rally in Cumbria years ago. It’s so far ago I can’t remember how long ago it was.

Morning all. Brr! another cold wet day, Lots of overnight rain again but looks dry for the rest of the day judging by the forecast. Missus is stripping wallpaper off to redecorate the bedroom, I hate that painting & decorating malarkey so I'm going to make my self busy doing some laundry Still no post for over a week now here,

I bought a new Karcher steam cleaner about a week ago, but it’s been too wet or cold to wash the car or clean the drive too. It’s not worth washing the drive because I need some sand for the rinsed out of the drive, but I don’t think it’s worth to clean the drive until spring now. Hopefully I can get some more sand to brush the clean sand into the block gap in the block gaps in the drive.

Same here, I'll watch the Scottish games . . . . ah I can't, they didn't qualify, yet again.

Everything dripping after overnight rain again.

The bird feeders need refilling, just watched a Blue T1t land on the feeders, check them all then fly across onto the window ledge and tap on the lounge window, "Oi, there's no food out here!"

Hi Rich.

I think I have some lying around somewhere. If I can find it I'll pop it across next time we're up
