He sure did love his Marmite, especially with a large dollop of Anchor butter .
He scolded me once for using Lurpak

It's chucking it down here too, I haven't switched the house lights off since getting up it's so dark out there.
Not doing any more baking until the new year as my Missus has gone nutz buying stuff & there's no room in the fridge or freezer

I was going to try out the TSW3 game & make the bed in the mancave but Louis is fast asleep in there

Well the mince pies became a bit of a disaster !

Went to fish my foil pie tins out of the cupboard...........Couldn't find them!!

Off I went to the supermarket, Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl......No luck!

Oh well, use my muffin/cup cake baking tray instead me thinks.

Then I find out that my pastry cutter just isn't big enough to cut pastry to the correct size for the holes in the tray.

Had to make do and just hope I can get the blighters out without destroying them

I have ordered some foils on Amazon Prime for delivery tomorrow. At least I can make a second batch without all that performance......

Cool

There appears to be a world shortage of Lemsip. Had to revert to the old fashion way of honey, warm water, lemon juice and a shot of whiskey. Seems to be working ok.

We have Madagascan Custard, Brandy Sauce or Cognac Cream to serve with them

I've stopped using most of the shop bought recipes for anything now. What you have described is spot on (especially the last bit!).
